Walker Middle School Description
Walker Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Salem, Oregon. Founded in 1954, Walker has been providing quality education to students for over 65 years. With an enrollment of approximately 500 students from grades 6-8, Walker offers a wide range of educational opportunities and activities that help prepare its students for success in high school and beyond.
Walker's curriculum focuses on developing critical thinking skills through rigorous academic courses such as math, science, language arts, social studies and foreign languages. In addition to core classes, Walker also provides elective courses including art, music and physical education. The school also offers extracurricular activities like sports teams and clubs that allow students to explore their interests outside the classroom.
At Walker Middle School we strive to create an environment where all students can learn and grow together while being supported by our dedicated faculty members who are committed to helping each student reach their full potential. We believe that every child deserves access to a quality education regardless of background or ability level so we work hard to ensure that all our students have equal opportunity for success both inside and outside the classroom walls.
