Tigard High School Description
Tigard High School is a public high school located in Portland, Oregon. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of over 2,000 students. The school offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college preparatory classes, career and technical education (CTE), special education services, and extracurricular activities such as athletics and clubs.
The school's mission is to provide each student with the opportunity to reach their highest potential through rigorous academics, meaningful relationships with teachers and staff members, and engaging learning experiences that prepare them for success in college or the workforce. There are numerous sports teams available for both boys' and girls', including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and track & field; there are also several club options such as drama club or robotics team; plus various community service projects throughout the year.
