Riverdale Grade School Description

Riverdale Grade School is a public school located in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Established in 1891, Riverdale has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school offers classes from kindergarten through eighth grade and serves approximately 500 students each year.

At Riverdale, teachers strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while also fostering respect and responsibility among its student body. Through their commitment to excellence, they have created a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can learn without fear or intimidation.

The curriculum at Riverdale focuses on developing critical thinking skills as well as problem-solving abilities so that students are prepared for success in high school and beyond. In addition to core subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and art, the school also offers enrichment activities like music lessons and after-school clubs.
