Beaumont Middle School Description
Beaumont Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1965, Beaumont has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school offers an array of educational opportunities and activities that are designed to meet the needs of all learners.
The student body at Beaumont consists of approximately 500 students from grades 6-8. The faculty and staff strive to create a safe and supportive learning environment where each student can reach their full potential. In addition to core classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health, Beaumont also offers electives including music, art, drama and technology courses.
At Beaumont Middle School we believe that every child should have access to a high quality education regardless of background or ability level. We offer numerous support services such as counseling programs for both academic and emotional issues as well as special education services for those with disabilities or learning differences.
In addition to academics, our extracurricular activities provide students with the opportunity to explore new interests while developing leadership skills through clubs like robotics team or debate club; participate in sports teams such as basketball or soccer; join performing arts groups like choir or band; volunteer within our community service program; take part in field trips throughout the year; attend assemblies featuring guest speakers on topics ranging from environmental awareness to college preparation; and much more!
