Pendleton High School Description
Pendleton High School is a public high school located in Pendleton, Oregon. Established in 1894, it is the oldest high school in Eastern Oregon and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE) pathways, and special education services.
The campus features modern facilities such as computer labs with up-to-date technology; science laboratories for biology, chemistry and physics; art studios; music rooms; a library/media center; gymnasiums for physical education classes; athletic fields for football, soccer and track & field events; tennis courts; basketball courts; baseball diamonds and softball fields. In addition to its academic offerings, Pendleton High School also provides extracurricular activities such as student government organizations like ASB (Associated Student Body), clubs like FFA (Future Farmers of America) or DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), sports teams competing at the 4A level within the OSAA (Oregon Schools Activities Association).
