Gresham High School Description
Gresham High School is a public high school located in Gresham, Oregon. Established in 1887, it is the oldest and largest high school in the city of Gresham. With an enrollment of over 2,000 students from grades 9-12, Gresham High School offers a comprehensive educational experience for its diverse student body.
At Gresham High School, students are encouraged to explore their interests through a variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities. The curriculum includes core classes such as English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies as well as electives like art history and music theory. Advanced Placement courses are also available for those looking to challenge themselves academically.
Outside of the classroom, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved with clubs and organizations that cater to different interests including robotics teams, debate clubs and sports teams such as football or basketball. Additionally, there are many service learning projects throughout the year where students can volunteer their time within the community while gaining valuable life skills at the same time.
Overall, Gresham High School provides an excellent education that prepares its graduates for success both inside and outside of college classrooms.
