Clackamas High School Description
Clackamas High School is a public high school located in Clackamas, Oregon. Established in 1885, it is the oldest high school in Clackamas County and one of the oldest schools in the state. With an enrollment of over 1,400 students, Clackamas High School offers a comprehensive education to its diverse student body. The school's curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science and social studies as well as electives like art, music and physical education.
The campus features modern facilities including a library media center with access to online resources; computer labs; classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards; and athletic fields for football, soccer and track & field events. Extracurricular activities include clubs such as drama club and robotics team; sports teams competing at both varsity and junior varsity levels; band programs featuring jazz ensemble performances; choir concerts throughout the year; academic competitions such as Science Olympiad or Math Counts; service learning opportunities through community partnerships with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity or Meals on Wheels.
