Burroughs Elementary School Description

Burroughs Elementary School is a public school located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1892, Burroughs has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational opportunities including music, art, physical education, and technology classes.

The faculty at Burroughs are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by creating a safe learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. They strive to provide individualized instruction tailored to meet the needs of every student while also fostering a sense of community among staff members and families alike.

In addition to its academic offerings, Burroughs provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, after-school programs, field trips, and more. These activities help foster social skills development while allowing students to explore new interests outside the classroom setting.
