Fernley High School Description
Fernley High School is a public high school located in Fernley, Nevada. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students. The school was established in 2001 and is part of the Lyon County School District.
The mission of Fernley High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty at FHS strive to create an atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous instruction and meaningful experiences.
At FHS, there are many opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, student government organizations, music programs, theater productions and more. There are also numerous college preparatory courses available including Advanced Placement (AP) classes which allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
Fernley High School prides itself on its commitment to providing quality education for all its students regardless of background or ability level.
