Rio Rancho High School Description

Rio Rancho High School is a public high school located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Founded in 1996, the school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of over 2,000 students. The school offers a wide variety of courses including Advanced Placement (AP) classes as well as college preparatory classes.

The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as a library with more than 30,000 volumes and access to online databases; computer labs; science laboratories; art studios; music rooms; and athletic fields for football, soccer, baseball/softball, track & field and tennis. In addition to its academic offerings, Rio Rancho High School also provides extracurricular activities such as student government organizations, clubs and sports teams that compete at the district level.

Rio Rancho High School strives to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous academics combined with meaningful social experiences. With dedicated faculty members who are committed to helping each student succeed academically and socially, Rio Rancho High School is proud to be part of the community it serves.
