James Caldwell Elementary School Description

James Caldwell Elementary School is a public school located in Springfield, New Jersey. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1965 and named after James Caldwell, a Revolutionary War hero who served as chaplain to the Continental Army during the Battle of Springfield.

The school offers a variety of educational programs designed to meet the needs of all its students. These include core academic classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health; special education services; gifted/talented programming; English Language Learner (ELL) instruction; and technology-based learning opportunities.
