The school was founded in 1965 and named after the late Edward V. Walton, who served as superintendent of schools for Union County from 1947 to 1964.
The mission of Edward V. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the needs of all learners with instruction tailored to each student's unique abilities and interests.
