Franklin School Description
Franklin School is a public elementary school located in Rahway, New Jersey. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has been part of the Rahway community since its founding in 1809. The school's mission is to provide an excellent education that prepares students for success in their future endeavors.
The staff at Franklin School are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment where all children can reach their full potential. They strive to create an atmosphere of respect, collaboration, and mutual understanding among faculty, staff, parents, and students alike. In addition to core academic subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health classes are also offered.
In order to ensure that each student receives individualized attention and instruction tailored specifically for them; small class sizes are maintained throughout the school year with no more than 20 students per classroom. Additionally there are many extracurricular activities available including sports teams (soccer & basketball), clubs (chess club & drama club) as well as after-school programs like tutoring sessions or art classes.
At Franklin School we believe that every child deserves access to quality education regardless of background or financial status which is why we offer free breakfast/lunch programs for those who qualify along with scholarships for families who cannot afford tuition fees. We take pride in our commitment towards creating a better tomorrow by educating today’s youth!
