Bloomfield High School Description
Bloomfield High School is a public high school located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Founded in 1883, it is the oldest high school in Essex County and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of over 1,500 students.
The mission of Bloomfield High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all its students. It offers a wide range of courses including Advanced Placement (AP) classes as well as career and technical education programs such as automotive technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, health sciences, business management and more.
In addition to academics, Bloomfield High School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams like football, basketball and baseball; clubs like student government; music ensembles; theater productions; art shows; robotics competitions; community service projects; field trips; dances and much more!
