Dover High School Description

Dover High School is a public high school located in Dover, New Hampshire. Established in 1876, it is the oldest high school in the city and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students.

The mission of Dover High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential while developing respect for themselves and others.

At Dover High School, there are numerous opportunities available for students to get involved with extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, music programs, theater productions and more. There are also many advanced placement courses offered at DHS which allow students to earn college credit while still attending high school.

Dover High School prides itself on its commitment to providing quality education for all its students regardless of background or ability level. With dedicated teachers who strive to help every student succeed academically and socially, DHS provides a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
