Murphy Middle Description

Murphy Middle School is located in the heart of Murphy, North Carolina. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has a student population of approximately 500. The school offers an array of educational opportunities for its students including core classes such as math, science, English language arts, social studies, physical education and health. Additionally, there are several elective courses available to choose from such as art, music and foreign languages.

The faculty at Murphy Middle School is highly dedicated to providing quality instruction that meets the needs of all learners. They strive to create a safe learning environment where every student can reach their full potential academically and socially. In addition to classroom instruction, teachers also provide extra help after school or during lunchtime if needed.

At Murphy Middle School we believe in creating a positive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and respected regardless of race or background. We have many extracurricular activities available for our students including sports teams like basketball and soccer as well as clubs like drama club or chess club. Our goal is to ensure that each student has access to enriching experiences outside the classroom so they can develop into well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in high school and beyond!
