Barnette Elementary Description
Barnette Elementary School is a public school located in Huntersville, North Carolina. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district.
The mission of Barnette Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The staff at Barnette strive to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential as learners and citizens.
Barnette offers a variety of programs for its students including art classes, music lessons, physical education activities, library services, technology instruction, foreign language courses, after-school clubs and sports teams. In addition to these offerings there are also several extracurricular activities such as chess club and student council meetings available for interested students.
Barnette Elementary School prides itself on providing quality education with high expectations for each student’s success while fostering respect among peers and adults alike.
