Cooper Elementary Description

Cooper Elementary School is a public school located in Clayton, North Carolina. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Johnston County Schools system.

The mission of Cooper Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty at Cooper strive to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential while developing strong character traits such as respect for self and others, responsibility, integrity, honesty, compassion, cooperation and perseverance.

At Cooper Elementary School there are many opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities including sports teams (soccer, basketball), clubs (chess club) and after-school programs (homework help). There are also special events throughout the year such as field trips and assemblies which allow students to explore new ideas or gain knowledge about different topics outside of the classroom setting.

Cooper Elementary School provides its students with a quality education that prepares them for success beyond elementary school. With dedicated teachers who care deeply about their student’s well-being both academically and socially; parents can be sure that their child will receive the best possible education available at this wonderful institution!
