Manhattan High School Description
Manhattan High School is a public high school located in the small town of Manhattan, Montana. Founded in 1887, it is one of the oldest schools in the state and has been providing quality education to its students for over 130 years. The school serves grades 9-12 with an enrollment of approximately 500 students.
The campus consists of two buildings: a main building which houses classrooms, offices, and other facilities; and a gymnasium/auditorium complex that includes a basketball court, weight room, locker rooms, and stage area. The school also offers various extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, volleyball, basketball), clubs (National Honor Society), student government organizations (Student Council), music programs (band & choir) and more.
Manhattan High School prides itself on offering rigorous academic courses including Advanced Placement classes as well as career technical education opportunities through their Career Technical Education program. They strive to provide each student with individualized instruction so they can reach their full potential while preparing them for college or careers after graduation.
In addition to academics and extracurriculars offered at Manhattan High School there are many community events held throughout the year such as homecoming parades and dances that bring together alumni from all generations to celebrate their shared history at this beloved institution.
