Stone High School Description
Stone High School is a public school located in Wiggins, Mississippi. Established in 1965, Stone High School has been providing quality education to the students of Stone County for over 50 years. The school serves grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, career and technical education classes, and college preparatory courses.
The student body at Stone High School consists of approximately 500 students from diverse backgrounds who are committed to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Students have access to an array of extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, music programs, theatre productions, art classes and more. In addition to these offerings, the school also provides support services such as counseling and tutoring for those who need it most.
At Stone High School we strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential while developing strong character traits that will serve them well throughout life’s journey. We believe that every student should be given the opportunity to succeed regardless of their background or circumstances; this is why we offer a variety of resources designed to help our students achieve success in whatever path they choose after graduation.
