Meridian High School is a public high school located in Meridian, Mississippi. Founded in 1891, it is the oldest and largest high school in Lauderdale County. The school serves over 1,400 students from grades 9-12 and offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment opportunities with local colleges and universities, career technical education classes, and more.
The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as a modern library media center, computer labs for student use, a performing arts center with auditorium seating for up to 500 people, two gymnasiums equipped with basketball courts and other sports equipment, tennis courts and outdoor track & field areas. In addition to its athletic offerings which include football, baseball/softball fields and soccer fields; the school also has several clubs available for students to join such as National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council Association (SCA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
