Kickapoo High School Description
Kickapoo High School is a public high school located in Springfield, Missouri. Founded in 1887, Kickapoo has been providing quality education to the students of Greene County for over 130 years. The school offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities that help prepare its students for college and beyond.
The student body at Kickapoo consists of approximately 1,400 students from grades 9-12. The curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science and social studies as well as electives like art, music and physical education. In addition to these courses, the school also provides Advanced Placement (AP) classes which allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
Outside of academics, Kickapoo offers numerous clubs and organizations including National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council (STUCO), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and many more. There are also several sports teams available for both boys’ and girls’ athletics including football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field among others.
At Kickapoo High School we strive to provide our students with an excellent educational experience that will set them up for success after graduation!
