Pearson Elementary School Description
Pearson Elementary School is a public school located in the small town of Wheaton, Minnesota. Established in 1891, Pearson has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school serves approximately 300 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers a variety of educational opportunities including music, art, physical education and technology classes.
The staff at Pearson are dedicated to creating an environment that encourages learning and growth for all students. They strive to create an atmosphere where children feel safe and supported while they learn new skills and develop their knowledge base. Teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, differentiated instruction and more to ensure that each student’s individual needs are met.
In addition to its academic offerings, Pearson also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and afterschool programs designed to help foster social development among its students. The school also hosts several community events throughout the year including family nights with special guests like authors or scientists who come in to talk about their work or field trips that take place outside of the classroom walls.
