Valley View Elementary School Description
Valley View Elementary School is a public school located in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1965, Valley View has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational programs designed to meet the needs of each individual student.
At Valley View, teachers strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment where all children can reach their full potential. Through engaging lessons and activities that promote critical thinking skills, problem solving strategies, collaboration and creativity, students are encouraged to explore new ideas and develop their own unique talents. In addition to core academic subjects such as math, science and language arts, Valley View also provides enrichment classes including art, music and physical education.
The faculty at Valley View works hard to ensure that every child feels supported both academically and emotionally while attending the school. They provide personalized attention when needed as well as guidance on how best to navigate social situations with peers or adults alike. Parents are actively involved in their child’s education by participating in parent-teacher conferences throughout the year as well as volunteering for various events held at the school like field trips or fundraisers.
