Seward Elementary School Description

Seward Elementary School is a public school located in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Established in 1891, it is one of the oldest schools in the city and has been providing quality education to its students for over 125 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

The mission of Seward Elementary School is to provide an excellent educational experience that prepares all students for success in college and career. To achieve this goal, the school offers a rigorous academic program with high expectations for student achievement. In addition to core subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education, Seward also provides enrichment classes such as art and music.

At Seward Elementary School, we believe that every child should have access to a safe learning environment where they can reach their full potential. We strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and respected regardless of race or background. Our dedicated staff works hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention so they can succeed academically and socially.
