University Preparatory Art Design Middle/High School (UPAD) is a public charter school located in Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 2009, UPAD has quickly become one of the most sought-after schools for students interested in pursuing an education focused on art and design.

At UPAD, students are encouraged to explore their creative potential through rigorous coursework that emphasizes critical thinking skills and problem solving techniques. The curriculum includes classes such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, fashion design and more. In addition to traditional academic courses like math and science, UPAD also offers specialized electives such as digital media production and game development.
