Dearborn High School Description

Dearborn High School is a public high school located in Dearborn, Michigan. Founded in 1891, it is the oldest and largest high school in the city of Dearborn. The school serves over 2,000 students from grades 9-12 and offers an array of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and more.

The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as a library media center with access to digital resources; science labs for biology, chemistry and physics; computer labs; art studios; music rooms; athletic fields and courts for football, soccer, baseball/softball, tennis and track & field; a performing arts theater; cafeteria with healthy meal options; student store selling spirit wear apparel; outdoor courtyard area with seating areas for lunchtime gatherings or studying outdoors.

At Dearborn High School there are many extracurricular activities available to students including clubs like National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council Association (SCA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA); sports teams such as basketball, volleyball and wrestling among others. Additionally there are several service organizations that provide opportunities for community involvement such as Key Club International which focuses on leadership development through service projects within the local community.

Overall Dearborn High School provides its students with an excellent educational experience both inside and outside of the classroom setting while also providing them with ample opportunities to get involved in their community through various clubs and organizations.
