Smithsburg Elementary School is a public school located in the small town of Smithsburg, Maryland. Founded in 1887, it has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and employs more than 50 teachers and staff members.
The school offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of all its students including special education services, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, gifted and talented programs, afterschool activities such as sports teams and clubs, and an array of extracurricular activities like music lessons and art classes.
