Sligo Middle School Description

Sligo Middle School is a public school located in Silver Spring, Maryland. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core academic subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and foreign languages. Additionally, Sligo Middle School provides enrichment classes in the areas of art, music and physical education.

The faculty at Sligo Middle School are dedicated to providing quality instruction for all their students. They strive to create an environment where each student can reach his or her full potential while developing critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities. The teachers also work hard to foster positive relationships with parents and guardians so they can better support their children’s learning experience.

In addition to its rigorous academics program, Sligo Middle School also offers extracurricular activities such as sports teams (including basketball, soccer and volleyball), clubs (such as chess club) and after-school programs like drama club or robotics team. These activities provide opportunities for students to explore new interests outside of the classroom setting while building teamwork skills and making friends along the way!
