Northwood High School Description

Northwood High School is a public high school located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Founded in 1965, Northwood has been providing quality education to students from the surrounding area for over 50 years. The school offers an array of academic programs and extracurricular activities that help prepare its students for college and beyond.

The student body at Northwood is diverse, with students coming from all walks of life. This diversity helps create an atmosphere where everyone can learn and grow together. The faculty are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by offering personalized instruction and support throughout their time at the school.

In addition to academics, Northwood also provides numerous opportunities for its students to get involved outside of the classroom. From sports teams to clubs and organizations, there’s something for everyone here! Students can take part in community service projects or join one of many honor societies available on campus.
