Mutual Elementary School is a public school located in Port Republic, Maryland. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1891 and is part of the Calvert County Public Schools system.

The mission of Mutual Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential by providing quality instruction and engaging activities that promote critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, communication, problem solving abilities, and respect for diversity.

At Mutual Elementary School there are many opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities such as sports teams (soccer, basketball), clubs (chess club), student council meetings/events (field trips), art classes (painting & drawing) music lessons (band & choir). There are also after-school programs available which include tutoring services as well as enrichment activities like robotics or coding classes.
