Dr. James Craik Elementary School is a public school located in the rural town of Pomfret, Maryland. The school serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students.
The school was founded in 1891 and named after Dr. James Craik, a prominent physician who served as George Washington's personal doctor during the Revolutionary War. It is one of the oldest schools in Charles County and has been providing quality education to its students for over 125 years.
