Chopticon High School Description
Chopticon High School is a public high school located in Morganza, Maryland. Established in 1965, Chopticon has been providing quality education to the students of St. Mary's County for over 50 years. The school serves grades 9-12 and offers a wide variety of courses including Advanced Placement (AP) classes, career and technical education programs, and extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs.
The student body at Chopticon consists of approximately 1,000 students from diverse backgrounds who are encouraged to strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom. The faculty is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by offering personalized instruction that meets individual needs. In addition to its rigorous academic program, Chopticon also provides an array of support services such as counseling, tutoring, health services, special education programs, and more.
