Applications And Research Laboratory School (ARLS) is a private, non-profit school located in Ellicott City, Maryland. Founded in 1998, ARLS provides an innovative and challenging educational experience for students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The school's mission is to provide a rigorous academic program that encourages creativity and critical thinking while fostering the development of strong character traits such as respect, responsibility, integrity and self-discipline.
At ARLS, students are encouraged to explore their interests through hands-on learning experiences with technology and research projects. Through these activities they develop problem solving skills and gain knowledge about science, math, engineering and other disciplines.
