High School/science-tech Description

High School/Science-Tech at 1250 State St, Springfield, MA is a public high school that offers students an innovative and rigorous academic program. The school focuses on preparing its students for college and career success through the use of technology and hands-on learning experiences. High School/Science-Tech has a diverse student body with over 1,000 students from all backgrounds.

The curriculum includes core classes such as math, science, English language arts, social studies, physical education and health. In addition to these courses, the school also offers advanced placement (AP) classes in various subjects including biology, chemistry and physics. Students can also choose electives such as robotics engineering or computer programming to further their knowledge in STEM fields.

High School/Science-Tech provides numerous extracurricular activities for its students including sports teams like basketball and soccer; clubs like chess club or debate team; music programs such as band or orchestra; theater productions; art classes; community service opportunities; internships with local businesses; field trips to colleges around Massachusetts; and more!

At High School/Science-Tech we strive to create an environment where our students feel safe while they learn how to become successful members of society who are prepared for college life after graduation. We believe that every student should have access to quality education regardless of their background or financial situation so we offer free breakfast & lunch programs along with scholarships for those who qualify.
