Hingham High School Description

Hingham High School is a public high school located in the town of Hingham, Massachusetts. Founded in 1872, it serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. The school offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as honors classes. It also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and organizations for its student body to participate in.

The faculty at Hingham High School are dedicated to providing quality education and creating an environment that encourages learning and growth among their students. They strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential academically, socially, emotionally and physically.

In addition to academics, Hingham High School also places emphasis on community service projects which help foster leadership skills among its student body while giving back to the local community. The school's commitment to excellence has earned it recognition both locally and nationally with awards such as being named one of America’s Best High Schools by U.S News & World Report in 2020.
