Brookline High School Description

Brookline High School is a public high school located in Brookline, Massachusetts. Founded in 1845, it is the oldest public high school in the state and one of the most prestigious schools in New England. The school has an enrollment of over 2,000 students from grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes, and electives.

The campus consists of two buildings: the main building on Greenough Street which houses classrooms for all grade levels as well as administrative offices; and a second building across the street that contains science labs, art studios, music rooms, and other specialized facilities. In addition to its academic offerings, Brookline High School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams (including football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (such as robotics or debate), theater productions and musical performances.

Brookline High School prides itself on providing a safe learning environment with dedicated teachers who are committed to helping their students reach their full potential.
