Quincy Upper School Description

Quincy Upper School is a private, college-preparatory school located in the heart of Boston. Founded in 1885, Quincy Upper School has been providing students with an exceptional education for over 130 years. The school offers a rigorous academic program that prepares students for success at the collegiate level and beyond.

At Quincy Upper School, teachers strive to create an environment where each student can reach their full potential. With small class sizes and individualized instruction, faculty members are able to provide personalized attention to every student's needs. In addition to core classes such as math, science, English and history, Quincy Upper School also offers electives like art, music and foreign language courses.

Outside of the classroom, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities including sports teams (soccer, basketball), clubs (debate team) and community service projects (volunteering). Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities including a library/media center with computers and other technology resources; two gymnasiums; outdoor athletic fields; a theater; dance studio; cafeteria; chapel; and more!
