Beverly High School Description

Beverly High School is a public high school located in Beverly, Massachusetts. Founded in 1852, it is the oldest secondary school in Essex County and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students.

The mission of Beverly High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential through rigorous instruction, meaningful activities, and positive relationships with peers and staff members.

At Beverly High School, there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom. There are over 40 clubs available including art club, debate team, robotics club, drama club and more! Additionally, there are many sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball soccer and track & field which compete at both local and regional levels.

Beverly High School also offers a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as honors classes for those who wish to challenge themselves academically. In addition to these courses they offer career exploration programs such as internships or job shadowing experiences so that students can gain real world experience before graduating high school.

Overall Beverly High School provides its students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for college or other post-secondary options after graduation while also providing them with ample opportunities to explore their interests outside of academics
