Andover High School Description

Andover High School is a public high school located in Andover, Massachusetts. Founded in 1872, it is the oldest secondary school in the town and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,800 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses as well as career and technical education classes.

The campus consists of two buildings: the original building built in 1872 which houses classrooms for English, math, science, social studies and foreign language; and a newer building constructed in 2002 that includes additional classrooms for art, music and physical education. In addition to its academic offerings, Andover High School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (drama club, chess club) and student organizations (National Honor Society).
