Welsh High School Description

Welsh High School is a public school located in the small town of Welsh, Louisiana. Established in 1891, it has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core classes such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies as well as electives like Art, Music and Physical Education.

The student body at Welsh High School consists of approximately 500 students from grades 9-12. The faculty is comprised of highly qualified teachers who are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. In addition to academics, the school also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs which allow students to explore their interests outside of the classroom.

At Welsh High School we strive to create an environment where all students feel safe and respected while they learn and grow into responsible citizens. We believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of background or financial status so we offer several programs designed to help those in need including free lunch for qualifying families and scholarships for college bound seniors.
