W.L. Abney Elementary School is a public school located in Slidell, Louisiana that serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Founded in 1965, the school has been providing quality education to its students for over 50 years and continues to strive for excellence today. The school offers an array of educational opportunities including core academic classes such as math, science, social studies, language arts and physical education; special programs like music and art; after-school activities such as sports teams and clubs; and technology resources like computers with internet access.

The faculty at W.L. Abney Elementary School are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential by creating a safe learning environment where everyone feels respected and valued. They also work hard to ensure that all students have access to the same high-quality instruction regardless of background or ability level so that each student can achieve success in their own unique way.

In addition to academics, W.L Abney Elementary School also focuses on building strong character traits among its students through various initiatives such as anti-bullying campaigns, positive behavior reinforcement systems, community service projects and more.
