Ruston High School is a public high school located in Ruston, Louisiana. Founded in 1883, it is the oldest and largest high school in Lincoln Parish. The school serves over 1,400 students from grades 9-12 and offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment classes with local universities, career technical education pathways, and college preparatory classes.
The campus features state-of-the-art facilities such as an auditorium for performing arts events; two gymnasiums; a library/media center; computer labs; science laboratories; art studios; music rooms; and athletic fields for football, baseball, softball, soccer and track & field. In addition to its strong academics program, Ruston High School also has numerous extracurricular activities available to its students including clubs like National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Student Council Association (SCA) and many more.
