Northside High School Description

Northside High School is a public school located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Established in 1965, Northside has been providing quality education to the students of Lafayette for over 50 years. The school offers a wide range of courses and activities that are designed to meet the needs of all its students.

The student body at Northside consists of approximately 1,200 students from grades 9-12. The faculty and staff strive to create an environment where every student can reach their full potential through rigorous academics and extracurricular activities. Northside also provides numerous opportunities for community involvement such as volunteer work with local organizations or participating in clubs like National Honor Society or Student Council.

Northside High School is committed to preparing its graduates for success after graduation by offering college preparatory classes as well as career technical programs such as automotive technology, culinary arts, health sciences, and welding technology. In addition, the school offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses which allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.

At Northside High School we believe that each student should have access to a safe learning environment where they can grow academically and socially into responsible citizens who will make positive contributions to society.
