Converse High School Description
Converse High School is a public school located at 400 Wildcat Dr in Converse, Louisiana. Established in 1887, it is the oldest high school in the parish and has been providing quality education to its students for over 130 years. The school offers a wide range of courses from traditional core subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies to electives like Art, Music and Physical Education.
The student body consists of approximately 500 students from grades 9-12 who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The faculty members are highly qualified professionals with many years of experience teaching in their respective fields. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning while also promoting respect among all members of the community.
At Converse High School there are numerous extracurricular activities available for students including sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball and softball; clubs like National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Student Council; as well as other organizations like band, choir and drama club.
