Liberty Magnet High School Description

Lee Magnet High School is a public high school located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Founded in 1965, it has been providing quality education to its students for over 50 years. The school offers a wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities that help prepare students for college and career success. Lee Magnet High School is committed to creating an environment where all students can reach their full potential.

The school's curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science, social studies, foreign language and physical education. In addition to these courses, the school also provides electives like art history, music theory and computer programming. Students have access to advanced placement (AP) courses as well as dual enrollment opportunities with local colleges and universities.

At Lee Magnet High School there are numerous clubs and organizations available for student involvement including National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council (STUCO), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Key Club International (KCI) and many more! There are also several sports teams offered at the school such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer and track & field.

Lee Magnet High School strives to create an atmosphere of respect among faculty members and students alike while promoting diversity within the community through various initiatives such as cultural celebrations throughout the year.
