Lasalle Elementary School Description

Lasalle Elementary School is a public school located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has been part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since its founding in 1965. Lasalle Elementary provides an excellent education for its students with a focus on academic excellence and character development. The school offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of all learners including special education services, gifted and talented classes, after-school activities, and more.

The faculty at Lasalle Elementary are dedicated to providing quality instruction that meets each student’s individual learning style. They strive to create an environment where every child feels safe and supported while they learn. The teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning, technology integration, hands-on activities, and more to engage their students in meaningful ways.

In addition to academics, Lasalle Elementary also emphasizes social emotional learning (SEL). Through SEL lessons taught by counselors or other staff members, children learn how to manage emotions effectively so they can better handle difficult situations both inside and outside of the classroom.

Lasalle Elementary is committed to helping each student reach their full potential academically as well as socially and emotionally.
