Bernard Terrace Elementary School is a public school located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Founded in 1965, the school has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational programs including special education services, gifted and talented classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, and after-school activities.

The faculty at Bernard Terrace Elementary School are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by creating a safe learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning and hands-on activities to engage students in meaningful ways. In addition to academics, the school also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, art clubs, music lessons, drama productions, robotics competitions and more.

At Bernard Terrace Elementary School parents are encouraged to be involved with their child’s education by attending parent/teacher conferences or volunteering in classrooms or on field trips.
