Scott County High School Description
Scott County High School is a public high school located in Georgetown, Kentucky. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. The school was founded in 1965 and is part of the Scott County Public Schools district.
The school offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, and organizations. Students have access to state-of-the-art technology resources including computers with internet access for research projects or assignments.
At Scott County High School there are many opportunities for student involvement outside of the classroom. There are over 30 clubs available to join ranging from art club to robotics team; these provide great ways for students to explore their interests while developing leadership skills.
