Gary Middle School for the Visual and Performing Arts is a public school located in Gary, Indiana. Founded in 2002, it serves students from grades 6-8. The school has an emphasis on visual and performing arts education, with classes such as music theory, dance, theater production, drawing & painting, photography and more.

The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities including sports teams (basketball, volleyball), clubs (chess club) and after-school programs (homework help). In addition to its academic offerings, the school provides counseling services to support student success.

At Gary Middle School for the Visual and Performing Arts we strive to create an environment that encourages creativity while providing our students with the necessary skills they need to succeed academically. We believe that every child should have access to quality education regardless of their background or circumstances. Our goal is to provide our students with a safe learning environment where they can explore their interests and develop into well-rounded individuals who are prepared for high school and beyond.
